Dockatot vs snuggleme

Dock-a-tot VS Snuggle me organic

Baby loungers / co sleepers have become a popular baby item. Top two being Dock-a-tot and Snuggle Me Organic! I have both and there are a few differences to look at before choosing which one is right for you=)

When first looking into a baby lounger the dockatot was the first I found. I wasn't very intrigued by it but had heard so many moms rave about how much their baby loved it. To me it just looked like a overpriced raft. haha. I ended up getting the snuggle me organic because it looked so much cozier, way cuter, and was organic! The snuggle me is like a soft cloud that hugs your baby. I absolutely loved it and my baby wouldn't sleep in anything else but that or my arms. We used it in our bed as a co sleeper. By 3 months old my son was to big for it to be used for a long period of time. his legs hung off and were elevated doing so. Not a proper position for night time sleep but ok for short term play/lounging. Therefore I looked at dockatot again and decided to give it a try! I have to say I really love the dockatot. The genius design is the bottom that opens up so as your baby grows their legs can stay flat while sleeping. This is exactly what I needed! I like that the cover is thick and fitted. The snuggle me has a soft pillowcase like cover that goes on easy but not fitted as perfectly and spit up/ diaper leaks run right through it. The dockatot material is easy to wipe clean and if you watch the how to videos its easy to put back on after wash & dry. I also love that the dock a tot has a padded bottom so you can set on a hard surface like the floor. It took a few days for my little one to get used to it but now he sleeps soundly in the dock! My advise is if you are looking for a long term co sleeper then buy the dock a tot. If you are looking for a portable lounger for play time or naps then go with the snuggle me. below I will post a Pro/Con list along with pictures of my baby in the snuggle and the dock.
